Crowds cheered as a barouche carriage (a type of landau that became fashionable during the Victorian period) carrying Kate, Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall, and Prince Harry left Buckingham Palace.

But it was George who attracted all the attention.  He was seen with his nanny (Maria Teresa Turrion Borrallo) from a balcony window giggling away in delight and sticking out his tongue.

Once the Queen took the salute of the Horse Guards, she headed back to Buckingham Palace and gathered on the balcony with the rest of the Royal Family to watch the traditional RAF fly past.

Prince George stole the show on his balcony debut in the same sky blue shirt with white frills and matching shorts outfit William wore for his first appearance in 1984. The little royal waved to the crowds as he was held by his dad the Duke of Cambridge.

Completing her look, the Duchess wore her aquamarine and diamond drop earrings (still UFO).

The picture of Prince George sticking out his tongue reminds us of Prince Harry during Trooping the Colour in 1989.
